Refund and Reissuance

At HTTPS.IN, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction by providing a fair and transparent refund and reissuance policy. Please review the terms below to understand our practices regarding refunds and SSL certificate reissuance.

1. Refund Policy

1.1 Eligibility for Refunds

You may qualify for a refund or receive an automatic refund as Store Credits in your HTTPS.IN account under the following conditions:

Scenario Condition How to Request
Issued Certificate Certificate has been issued by the CA. Log into your HTTPS.IN account or submit a written request within 15 days from the issuance date.
Unsuccessful Issuance The certificate issuance attempt was unsuccessful. Log into your HTTPS.IN account or contact our team via email.
No Issuance Attempt No attempt has been made to issue the certificate. Log into your account within 90 days or submit a written request to HTTPS.IN. After 90 days, the system will automatically cancel the certificate and process the refund as Store Credits.

Note: Approved refunds will be credited as Store Credits, which can be used for a new purchase or refunded to the original payment source (subject to applicable transfer charges).

1.2 Transfer Charges for Refunds to Original Payment Source

For refunds returned to the original payment method (instead of Store Credits), the following transfer charges apply:

Transaction Type Transfer Charge
INR Transactions INR 300 or 5% + applicable GST, whichever is higher
USD Transactions USD 10 or 5%, whichever is higher

2. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds do not apply to services unless otherwise specified. Additionally, HTTPS.IN will not process refunds for:

  • Premium Support services purchased along with SSL or Code Signing Certificates.
  • SSL certificates that have been used, installed, or activated.
  • Any fees associated with administrative, processing, or reinstatement costs.
  • Any certificate revoked due to a violation of our terms and conditions.

SSL certificates may be reissued in the following circumstances:

  • Private Key Compromise: If the private key associated with the certificate has been compromised.
  • Incorrect Details: If incorrect details were provided during the original issuance process.
  • Domain Changes: If the certificate needs to be issued for a different domain within the allowed modification scope.
  • Renewal Processing: If a renewed certificate needs to be reissued before expiration.

3.2 Conditions for Reissuance

  • Reissuance requests must be made within the validity period of the original certificate.
  • The new certificate will retain the original expiration date.
  • Reissuance may require additional verification steps as per Certificate Authority (CA) policies.
  • Excessive reissuance requests may be subject to additional charges or limitations.

4. Store Credits & Expiry

Store Credits are a digital balance that allows you to conveniently use refunded amounts for future purchases on HTTPS.IN. You can also request a withdrawal to your original payment method, subject to applicable transfer fees.

  • Any remaining Store Credits must be used within 90 days from the date of credit.
  • After this period, the credits will expire and become inaccessible.
  • HTTPS.IN will not be liable for any loss of expired credits.
  • Customers will receive email reminders before the expiry date.

5. Payment Failures & Late Fees

  • If a payment fails, you must settle the outstanding amount immediately upon request by HTTPS.IN.
  • A late payment fee of 18% per annum, compounded monthly, may be imposed on overdue balances.
  • Any costs incurred during the collection process, including legal fees, will be borne by the user.

6. Invoice Discrepancies

Any discrepancies in an invoice must be reported within 15 days of receipt. Requests for corrections or clarifications submitted after this period will not be considered.

7. Termination & Cancellation

  • This agreement may be terminated if you discontinue our services or if HTTPS.IN determines that your use of services violates our policies.
  • In the event of termination due to policy violations, no refunds will be issued.
  • HTTPS.IN reserves the right to revoke an SSL certificate without prior notice if the agreement is terminated.
